Junior & Internships

Start Here.

Entry-level opportunities at L7 aren't a formality. You'll do real work, ship real things, and leave with a portfolio that reflects it.

01

Real work, not fetch quests.

Junior contributors work on actual features and real projects, not a separate "intern track" designed to keep you busy. Your output ships.

02

Mentorship built in.

You'll work directly alongside experienced developers, artists, and designers. Questions are expected. Growth is the point.

03

Flexible commitment.

All roles are remote and volunteer. We understand you're studying, building skills, or juggling other commitments, and we work around that.

04

Portfolio you can show.

Every contribution goes into a live product used by real players. Your work is publicly visible and yours to reference.

Development
DEV

Junior Roblox Developer

Shadow our gameplay engineers on small, scoped Luau tasks: bug fixes, minor mechanics, UI wiring. Some Lua/Luau exposure helpful, not required.

DEV

Junior Web Developer

Work on small features and fixes for lucky7entertainment.com under a mentor. Basic HTML/CSS/JS or React coursework is enough to start.

Art & Design
ART

Junior 2D Artist

Help produce thumbnails, icons, and promo art. We want to see your sketchbook or school portfolio more than a resume.

ART

Junior UI Designer

Assist with menu layouts and UI polish in Figma alongside our lead designer. Willingness to take feedback and iterate fast matters most.

Audio
SFX

Music Composition Intern

Write short loops and stingers under guidance from our composer. Share a few tracks, even unfinished ones: we care about ear, not gear.

SFX

Sound Design Intern

Build out small SFX libraries for UI and ambience. A free DAW and some curiosity is all you need to start.

Community & QA
QA

Community Assistant

Help run events, answer questions in Discord, and relay player feedback to the team. No prior experience required.

QA

Junior QA Tester

Play-test new builds and write clear, reproducible bug reports. Patience and attention to detail matter more than experience.

No experience required

Most junior roles exist precisely because you're still building skills. Show us effort and a willingness to learn, and we'll handle the rest.

A few hours a week

These are volunteer, part-time roles built around school or other work. We ask for consistency, not a fixed schedule.

Direct feedback

You'll get real, specific feedback on your work from people who've shipped games. It won't always be flattering, but it will always be useful.

A path forward

Junior contributors who consistently deliver are first in line when full positions open up.

Is this paid?

No. Like all positions at Lucky 7 Entertainment, junior and internship roles are volunteer-based. What you get instead is mentorship, real shipped work, and a portfolio.

Do I need to already know how to use Roblox Studio / Figma / a DAW?

No, but you should be willing to learn the basics on your own time. We'll teach you the rest.

How much time does this take?

Most junior contributors put in a few hours a week. We care about consistency over volume.

What happens after the internship?

Strong junior contributors are usually the first people we reach out to when a full volunteer position opens in their track.

How do I apply?

Head to Open Roles, click the position you're interested in, and apply directly through the form. Include any work samples you have, even unfinished ones.
